CompactFlash™ adapter for the Handspring Visor™

Compact Flash storage cards can interface to the Springboard slot using nothing more than a Compact Flash to PCMCIA adapter with only a few wiring modifications. See Kopsis for details of the changes you will need to make.

Using the TDS2020CFA short adapter, only about 8mm of the Compact Flash card protrudes from the top of the Visor. This seems perfect as it still makes it easy to grab the Compact Flash card to remove it, yet the overall Visor form factor is not significantly changed with the card inserted. This solves the problem with standard Compact Flash to PCMCIA adapters where the card protrudes a long way from the top of the Visor.This product was designed for for the TDS2020F embedded computer but also does a good job in the Handspring Visor.
